The Scarred Root
Years ago, the local woods were razed to build a fortress—now that fortress lies in ruins, and something stirs beneath its roots. The Treant of Hatred has awakened and begun tearing down nearby settlements, carving a trail of destruction through the land that once betrayed it. The party must choose whether to confront it head-on or search the ruins for a way to calm the ancient rage before all the frontier is lost to wrath.
The Weeping Grove
Fey spirits cry for help as their sacred grove is consumed by thorns and ash. At its heart stands the Treant of Hatred, wrapped in choking vines and swinging its greataxe in blind fury. The queen of the glade has fallen silent. The party must brave a forest now turned hostile and confront a being that once protected the realm—but now sees all life as worthy of vengeance.
