Villagers near an ancient glade report sightings of a massive wolf made of vines and bark. Livestock has vanished, and trails change overnight. The party must enter the shifting woods and confront the Direwolf of the Fey—either as enemies or emissaries—before it expands its territory beyond the forest’s edge.
Verdant Loyalty
A dying fey noble offers the party one final quest: ensure their loyal Direwolf of the Fey is not claimed by dark forces. But when they find the beast, it has grown feral with grief and suspicion. The party must tame or free it before its wrath brings ruin to the surrounding realm.
The Howl Between Seasons
The changing of the seasons is delayed, and druids believe a Direwolf of the Fey is holding the balance hostage after its mate was slain by poachers. The party must traverse a shifting, surreal forest and decide whether justice, vengeance, or forgiveness will restore the wheel of time.
