The Angel of Death miniature is a harrowing and unnatural sight: two skeletal skulls—one upright, one inverted—joined together in a surreal union, each with piercing eyeballs still glaring from their sockets. Between the jaws and fangs of both skulls, three additional eyeballs hover in a grotesque, suspended orbit.
